Exhibition Guidelines & Rules

Each meeting has an Exhibition for Easts Photography Club (EPC) members.

Generally, the aim of these exhibitions is to share and to expose you to a variety of people with a wealth

of photographic and artistic experience, and provide you with an opportunity to glean new ideas on how to

limber up your creative muscles, stretch your imagination and expand your photographic skills.


Guidelines & Rules

Exhibition

  • Entries are only open to financial members of EPC.

  • FCC Competition Subjects – images suitable for entry

    in this competition
  • Set Subject – images that illustrate the theme only are to be shown

  • Only a total of 3 Digital Images shall be entered

  • Maximum Digital Image size is 1920 pixels on longest side, max. 2 MB.
    DIGITAL entries are to be sent to the Dropbox

  • Files should start with the member’s initials e.g. MFitz_beachview

Format for Exhibition

Photographers will have an opportunity to speak succinctly (under 2 minutes) about their images. Images will be displayed together and if you are comfortable sharing your process, please be prepared with these discussion points:

  1. Where was the photo taken?

  2. What was the intention behind taking this photo?

  3. What camera and camera setting did you use?

  4. What post processing techniques did you use?

  5. What is the strength of the photo?

  6. What would you do differently?

  • All entries MUST comply with Image Specifications

  • Images used/entered must be your own work and photographic in origin.

  • Any digital manipulation must be entirely your work.

  • You may not enter the same, or substantially the same, image in more than one exhibition.

  • A modified image may be re-entered in a subsequent EPC exhibitions if it has been modified to the extent that it constitutes an entirely different image.

  • All entries are subject to the approval of the Committee.

  • Please be respectful to judges and members and keep speaking to a minimum

  • Entries are also expected to be available for publishing on the Club website.
